When a mysterious Eskimo boy named Ikingut arrives at a settlement in northern Iceland at the onset of a blizzard, some of the villagers think he's bad luck! Perhaps he's one of the monsters they've heard about in old legends. Maybe he's the reason they're suffering such severe hardship as winter closes in... Young Boaz is the only one who stands up for his new Eskimo friend.
