Zane Malik is a husband, a father, and a detective at the Major Crime Squad in Sydney, Australia.  He's also a Muslim, in a post-9/11 world where such an identity automatically arouses suspicion and trepidation.  Together with his colleagues, Malik works to solve cases involving people who represent a wide cross-section of modern Australia.  This award-winning series explores the fear and mistrust that exists between East and West, between Muslim and non-Muslim, and between different people whose lives are irrevocably intertwined.
