FALLS CHURCH, VA- Al-Mubadarh: The Arab Empowerment Initiative premiers on MHz Networks 1 in Washington, DC on July 11, 12 noon ET.
Al-Mubadarah is a non-political, independent and multi-cultural/religious initiative devoted to developing an independent global platform for Arab engagement.
The hour-long special, hosted by Sonya Gavankar, features interviews with founders Victor Shiblie and Hazami Barmada, as well as speeches by Walter Isaacson, President and CEO of The Aspen Institute; His Excellency Sameh Shoukry, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt; and stand-up comedy by Maysoon Zayid, America's first Muslim woman comedian.
Al-Mubadarah can be watched on MHz Networks 1 in the Washington, D.C. on digital broadcast channel 30.1, Comcast cable 271, Cox cable 470, RCN cable 30, Verizon FiOS 451, DirecTV 2183 and 972, and Dish Network 8077.
