FALLS CHURCH, VA- MHz Networks will serve as a media sponsor for the 2013 Global Diaspora Forum. The Forum is comprised of events in Washington, DC, Dublin, Ireland, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles on March 13 and 14, 2013.
The Forum brings together a diverse range of stakeholders, all passionate about promoting Diaspora engagement, with a theme of “Where Ideas Meet Action.” The Forum will comprise of leaders and representatives of Diaspora communities, U.S. government, private sector, international institutions, foundations, academia, and non-profits.
The Forum features stories from prominent figures in American popular culture, demonstrate exemplary initiatives in international development and diplomacy undertaken by Diasporans of all generations and showcase methods of cultural bridge-building that encourage young Diasporans to connect with their countries of heritage.
MHz will broadcast the Dublin and DC sessions nationally on MHz Worldview on Saturday, May 18th from 8 AM-2 PM ET and on Today’s Ireland (MHz 12) in the Washington, DC area.
