MHz Home Entertainment Announces Three New DVD releases

FALLS CHURCH, VA- On January 21, 2014 MHz Home Entertainment will release the powerful world-wide TV sensation Borgen: Season Three, the French series Dolmen: The Complete Series and the Swedish hit series Sebastian Bergman: Volume 1.

Borgen: Season Three
Borgen is a modern Danish political drama that for 3 seasons has intrigued audiences around the world for it's portrayal of the personal costs of the struggle for power for the people at the center of the political world and the media.

In this third and final season of Borgen, Birgitte Nyborg (Sidse Babett Knudsen) is a very different person than the confident prime minister who spoke at the lectern in parliament. She is no longer prime minister. It has been two and a half years since she called an election in which she failed to win the required number of seats to maintain the existing government.

She has since left politics and is now a highly-paid speaker in the business world. During a talk she is holding for yet another group of Danish businesspeople, it all suddenly becomes too much for her. She can no longer brush off the recurring

question of what she would do if she were Prime Minister.

Dolmen: The Complete Series

What could be more perfect than coming home to marry your childhood sweetheart? Police officer Marie Kermeur returns to the beautiful craggy island of Ty Kern, off the coast of Brittany, to marry Christian, the man she grew up with on the island. But wedding planning turns into funeral preparations as the island becomes the stage for strange, nightmarish happenings. One by one, members of Marie's and other well-known local families die in mysterious circumstances. Adding an element of the bizarre to each tragedy is the fact that at the moment of death, one of the large stone outcroppings called

'menhirs' begins to bleed with blood identical to that of the victim.

And, in the hand of each corpse is found the cryptic note, "For Marie, He will judge. From the stone, blood will spill." The strange phenomenon revives an old and sinister island legend of the Shipwreckers. They were the starving islanders who, centuries ago during a famine, misdirected ships heading to lighthouse and caused them to wreck upon the rocks. Desperate to stop the carnage, Marie starts her own investigation, but a top cop from Paris, Lucas Fersen, supplants her and is officially put in charge of the case. Given that her family is directly affected by the eerie events, Marie is determined to play a part in the investigation and help solve the mystery. Despite their initial mutual mistrust, a strong attraction

grows between Marie and Lucas. Together they reveal Ty Kern's darkest secrets.

Sebastian Bergman: Volume 1

Every criminal has his own handwriting, but only Sebastian Bergman can read it.

Sebastian Bergman is Sweden's most famous criminal profiler, having written a definitive, best-selling book about workings of the criminal mind. Played by Swedish actor Rolf Lassgard, famous for his performance as the original Wallander, based on Henning Mankell's wildly popular crime novels. Bergman is strong-headed, politically incorrect, intuitive, abrasive and grief stricken. He's yet to come to terms with the loss of his wife and daughter from the 2004 tsunami in Thailand, an event that caused his life to careen out of control and derailed his work with the Stockholm police department.

Personal compulsions numb the pain and make him into his own worst enemy. His life and career are completely on the skids when he returns to his hometown, two weeks late for his mother's funeral but just in time to help the local police solve the brutal murder of a 15-year-old boy. Then, a revelation from his past jump-starts his efforts to get his life back in order and deal with his sexual addiction.

He's learned that therapy won't help; what he needs is to get back to work. When the Stockholm police realize they have a serial killer on their hands, Bergman knows he's still got it and insists they hire him. It's a race against the clock to catch a murderer who appears to be modeling his attacks on those of a deadly criminal Bergman put behind bars years ago. The chase is on: catching killers is the one thing he knows how to do best.
