First Ukraine Joins MHz Networks Schedule in D.C. Area

FALLS CHURCH, VA-  First Ukraine TV Channel of National Television Company of Ukraine has recently joined in partnership with MHz Networks. Two programs from the broadcaster join the MHz Networks 1 schedule in the Washington, D.C. metro area, beginning on November 28.


The partnership was initiated and facilitated by the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States of America.


A special presentation of two First Ukraine Channel talk shows heralds the launch of the partnership. Society Ukraine airs MHz Networks 1 on November 28 at 11:30 PM EST. 


Society Ukraine (''Suspilstvo Ukraine'') presents guest panelists discussing issues of the Ukrainian people, reveal unsolved challenges of Ukrainian society and review the latest opinion polls. Olexander Shulga, Ph.D, hosts this weekly talk-show, broadcast in Ukrainian.


The Most Important airs on MHz Networks 1 on November 30 at 11:30 PM EST. 


The Most Important (''Pro Holovne'') is a daily talk-show anchored by Oles' Tereshchenko.  Politicians, experts and public officials discuss the main political, economy and cultural agenda of Ukraine and around the Globe, broadcast in Ukrainian.


An evening newscast Results of The Day ('''Pidsumky Dnia'') from National Television Company of Ukraine launches on MHz 1 on December 2. The newscast will air Mondays-Saturdays at 11:30 PM EST.


Result of The Day (''Pidsumky Dnia'') is an evening newscast of the National Television Company of Ukraine. It is the longest run newscast in Ukraine (since 1956) with the widest broadcasting coverage across the country. Result of The Day (''Pidsumky Dnia'') is up to 30-minutes newscast on current events with live coverage, exclusive comments and fascinating stories from Ukraine and the Globe,

broadcast in Ukrainian.


The First Ukraine programs can be viewed in the D.C. metro area on MHz Networks digital broadcast channel 30.1, Comcast 271, Cox 470, Verizon FiOS 451, RCN 30, Dish Network 877 and DirecTV 56.
