Arirang TV to Launch Full-Time in DC

FALLS CHURCH, VA – Beginning May 1, 2011, Arirang TV will be available 24 hours a day on MHz Networks 9 in the DC metro area.

As a representative English broadcasting station based in South Korea, Arirang TV provides news and entertainment from and on Korea for the international community.

With the mission of "Korea for the World, the World for Korea,"  Arirang TV strives to enhance relationships with the global community by spreading the image of Korea through its TV and radio programming.

A documentary program from the channel debuted on MHz’s national channel last fall. MHz will continue to offer Arirang programming nationally on MHz Worldview with the launch of an Arirang newscast on MHz Worldview later this summer. MHz Worldview is available to over 40 million households throughout the U.S. through a network of MHz broadcast and cable affiliates.

Additional Arirang programming will also be available on demand nationally on MHz Networks broadband channel on the Roku digital video player.
